How did I ever live without my Hokas?
My Speedgoat 6 trail running/walking shoes are so comfortable. I love the excellent arch support, plenty of cushioning, as well as the wide toe box. These shoes fit my feet perfectly–with a snug feel–not too tight, but not sliding around either. I also feel really stable in these shoes, which means they are wide, which could look a little clunky. I didn’t find this to be a problem, but it could matter to some. I live where there is a lot of rain, snow, and mud. It is just a part of life here. These shoes have robust traction with deep grooves and lugs that provide excellent grip in the rain and mud. When I run I feel the shoes propel me forward but not to the point where it makes it difficult to use them as walking shoes.

The Speedgoats are also excellent for hiking, but if it is muddy, I prefer my waterproof Hoka hikers better (but they are heavier and more robust, so the Speedgoats are better for trail running). The strong grip of these shoes do make it feel a little sticky on pavement, so if you don’t ever run on trails, these Hoka running shoes might work better for you.
My son runs Varsity Cross Country for his high school and his Hoka Speedgoats are his favorite shoe that he has ever run in. Since he trains on pavement as well as trails, the versatility of these Hokas are unmatched. His shoes even clean up well after a muddy practice run!

I bought these shoes right before a trip to NYC and I wore them right out of the box. I had no blisters, no foot pain, and no fatigue after I had walked and biked around for the entire day. I didn’t even want to take them off in the hotel room like I would other shoes-they were just that comfortable.
